Rookies hitting the practice field, starting their conditioning, starting their training camp a week early before veterans report next Tuesday.

So we are getting close and breaking down the final position group here and some depth, I think,

more up for grabs than the five starting positions on the offensive line, four of five

starters returning.

and obviously Trent Williams a few years ago broke the grading system for PFF and was still the highest graded blocker for the 49ers last year as a pass blocker and as a run blocker and

overall.

And actually, I take that back.

He was point one actually behind Dominic Pic Poonie and run blocking grade.

But overall, the highest graded offensive linemen for the San Francisco 49ers and by far the highest graded pass blocker for the 49ers.

In his 10 games and 649 offensive snaps, and hopefully it's a lot more.

And he plays all 17 games and even more in the playoffs.
