We've got a lot to talk about. There's Trent Williams News. There was a tweet put out by Doug Gottlieb about Dwayne Haskins,

which we will talk about. But I'm going to open with this. The combine's underway,

and there's a name you should keep an eye on and an ear open for. And his name's Michael Turk.

He's Arizona State's kicker and punter. And at the Combine yesterday,

he put up 25 reps at 225 pounds on the bench press. It was remarkable. The 25 reps were more

than current NFL players like Frank Clark, Judavian Clowny, and DeMarcus Lawrence put up,

more than Devin White put up last year at the Combine, and so far at the Combine,

more than all but one tight end and all 33 receivers, Michael Turk, outperformed on the

bench press as a kicker punter out of Arizona State.

Now, that aside, the name may be familiar to you.

Matt Turk was his uncle.

Matt Turk was a longtime NFL punter, 17-year career,

including from the years 1995 through 1999 here in Washington,

where he was a first-team all-pro in 1996 as the Redskins punter.

But there's more to Matt Turk.

Matt's brother Dan Turk was the long snapper in Washington for a couple of seasons, including the season in which

Brad Johnson and the Redskins' offense led them to a division title in 1999 and into the

playoffs where they beat Detroit in a wild card round playoff game and then traveled to Tampa

for a divisional round game.

The Redskins led that game 13 to nothing. It's the game where Brian Mitchell had a 100-yard
