Not all bad news. Also got an injury update around Tottenham Hotspur for you, as well as a transfer update on Alphonto Davies and an explanation of Liverpool's Darwin Nunes stance this January.

So we'll start off with the Trent Alexander Arnold News.

He has avoided serious injury and will not be sidelined for a long period

with results from a scan on his thigh confirming good news.

So he underwent the scan on Monday after being forced off against Bournemouth.

The early assessment was that Trent would miss an extended, would not miss an extended

spell and that has now been confirmed.

The Times, Paul Joyce, reports that Alexander Arnold will miss days rather than weeks, which is great.

He's not likely to be in the squad for Thursdays Carabelle Cup semi-final second leg against Spares,

and he won't be risked for the FA Cup clash with Plymouth either.

So Connor Bradley's in line to start probably both games,

but we know that Joe Gomez and Jarrell Kwanza are other senior options,

as well as Isaac Mabaya, who was trained with the first team in recent sessions as well.

So it would be nice to see if Joe Gomez could get some minutes in one of those two games.
