Ramiro Sanchez is a Uruguayan writer and translator, author of more than 20 novels,

none of them yet translated to English.

He has also published book-length essays about the Matrix Tetrology and David Bowie's music,

as well as short pieces on post-humanism, accelerationism, and speculative realism.

His short stories have been published in magazines and anthologies such as El Terse Mundo, Despoet del Sol,

Cabezas and La Ventana, Xenomorphica magazine, and Perodoxa, among many others.

His work can be described as a macro novel about the multiple alternative lives of a single

protagonist, Federico Stahl.

He lives in Montevideo with his wife and two daughters and collects CDs, vials,

Pokemon figures, and old computers.
