Wanted to give you a very quick update in the Lori Daybell case.

Trina K. has filed a reply to defendant's response to the state's motion to file

state's response to motion for new trial under seal. That's a mouthful.

Let's read this really quickly. The state of Arizona,

through undersigned counsel, submits for the record that the state is not in possession of any

of the defendant's medical records. All information relating to the defendant's medical diagnosis

comes from the defendant stating the facts

on the record or from Joseph Vigil on behalf of correctional health services in a filing or on

the record. If the defendant objects to sealing the state's response to defendant's motion for

new trial, then the court should deny the state's attempt to protect the state's response to defendant's motion for new trial, then the court should deny the

state's attempt to protect the defendant's personal medical history and make the state's response

to defendants motion for new trial available to the public to view. That was filed July 13th. Trina Kay, not playing at this point. Again, just a reminder,

her sentencing is set for July 25th. So I will keep up with this and let you know if the judge

rules or if Lori files another motion. Later on today, I'm going to do an episode on Corey Richens going through the

motion to sever. I never did that. It has been severed, but there are some good nuggets in there

and the state pretty darn salty in their response. So look for that later this afternoon.
