| 0:52.0 | Today I would like to speak about something extremely important. We all know that there are some divine rights that have been enshrined in Islam. |
| 1:21.0 | By Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala upon us, firstly as human beings and secondly as muslims. |
| 1:29.0 | We are human beings, we care for the rest of humanity. We are muslims, we care for the rest of the Muslims as well as humanity at large. |
| 1:38.0 | So there are certain rights that need to be fulfilled regarding one another, in particular and regarding the rest of humanity on a broader level. |
| 1:50.0 | So the Prophet of Allah, who has said, speaks of some of these rights in various narrations. One of them, he says, |
| 2:00.0 | the right of a Muslim upon another Muslim is five things. You, the others, five things. They owe you five things. |
| 2:12.0 | I wish to speak about the issue of sickness and illness. From among the five, he says, |
| 2:20.0 | you visit a person who is sick. Now if you take a look at it, it is a duty for us to visit those who are sick. |
| 2:28.0 | But there is a way of doing it. There is a sunnah, method. The method taught by Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam of visiting the sick. |
| 2:38.0 | You don't just go without etiquette at any time of the night or the day and sit for the entire evening and demand food and make it difficult. |
| 2:47.0 | But there is a way of doing things and there is such a great reward to take an interest in those who are sick, whether they are related to you or not. |
| 2:58.0 | A mistake we make is we like to visit our relatives who are sick. We like to visit our friends who are sick and ill. |
| 3:06.0 | What about those who are neither your friends nor relatives? How many of us would actually pass by for one minute and make a short dua or say a word of hope or at least visit them when you did not know them. |
| 3:21.0 | Show the solidarity that we have amongst mankind and amongst the Ummah in particular. |
| 3:28.0 | So it is important for us to realize the reward is so high, there must be a reason. There must be a great reason. |
| 3:37.0 | It is not something minor. Look at the Jum'ah. Today we are seated here for Salatul Jum'ah. We consider it compulsory. There is a reason. We are part of one family. |
| 3:48.0 | There is love between us. There should be the element of caring between us. If you do not feel love for the brother, sit next to you or regarding the sisters. |
| 4:00.0 | For those sisters who are seated next to you, then there is something wrong with your heart. There is something wrong with your heart. No matter what we are brothers and sisters, we should be defending one another, helping one another, reaching out to one another, assisting one another. |
| 4:17.0 | Taking care of one another in the best possible way. So much so that if we were to attend Salatul Jum'ah in the masjid five times a day, we would actually know who is not here. |
| 4:30.0 | And with good thoughts in our minds, we would want to enquire, my brother, are you okay? I did not see you at Salatul Asr. |
