To this very day, the 81st anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombing.

That was a time when we had a united sense of purpose, common cause.

We understood good from evil, right from wrong. We knew our friends, we knew our enemies,

and therefore with that moral clarity, we knew what to do about it as a nation.

Today, we don't yet really have our Pearl Harbor moment of clarity.

Because the problem is we have a bombing within, and it's a subtle, slow cook.

It's not any one incident, and we have a lot of confusion and confusion in our own ranks.

And it's time we realize that the Republican Party is not our friend, they are an enemy,

but they're a nuanced enemy. In the sense that in order to survive, they need us.

More so than we need them, we don't need them. Because there's nothing they do for us anyway.

It's time we treat the GOP like a wayward slave, not a master, not something like you better get

on their plantation, and you support Kevin McCarthy and you support Mitch McConnell.

You vote for them in the general election. No, no, no. We're the ones who say you better abide by

our policies, our red lines. Otherwise, we're not going to vote for you.

And we're going to work parallel on our own strategies. And what you're seeing is it works

rather than throwing our panties at Kevin McCarthy as other conservatives wanted to do.
