Have you ever worked so diligently, worked so hard, and you worked your heart out, and you've done

all that you can on a something that is very important, very significant, only to discover

somebody shows up and criticizes you for something that is totally insignificant, irrelevant,

Now, let me illustrate what I mean.

Ladies, have you ever been in a situation where you have kept immaculate house,

well-dressed children, you fed them, you trained them, they're well-behaved,

and then your mother-in-law walks in, and she says, what's wrong with you here?

Guys, have you ever worked hard to provide for your family, to take care of your family, to serve

your family well, and then your father-in-law walks in?

He says, when is the last time you rotated those tires?

You know what I'm talking about?

I'm talking about critical people who would criticize you for something that really is

irrelevant, and nonsicature as to the main task and the important thing.

I'm talking about people who are so negative about unimportant things in life, and they always

barrage you with criticism. Now the question is, why do critical people, and I mean those who

really have a critical spirit, not the one that can say something on occasion, but I'm talking about somebody with a critical spirit.

Why are they always criticizing things that often superfluous and non-important?

It's an important question, and I'm going to answer it. I'm not going to duck it. It's very important.

Because at the root of their criticism is not the criticizing in itself. Most often, the root of

their criticism is envy and jealousy, and it shows itself in the act of criticism. They would never come out
