but don't worry, Nauties. We've got a ton of gossip to get to, so let's jump right in. What time

is it, my friends? It is tea time. So a big follow-up story at the top of the show. Jason Kelsey

has apologised for a fan altercation, and he's saying, quote, I greeted hate with hate.

So Jason has addressed a recent viral incident involving a heated exchange with a fan,

delivering a heartfelt apology for his actions. The retired NFL star,

who's 36, opened up on his show by acknowledging the incident. It was an ugly incident,

wasn't it? We spoke about it on the show, so someone ran up to him and directed a slur,

a homophobic slur towards his brother Travis, and then Jason used

the same slur in a response. He said the following quote, I think everyone's seen on social media,

everything that took place this week. We did. He added,

listen, I'm not happy with anything that took place. I'm not proud of it. In a heated moment,

I chose to greet hate with hate. And I just don't think that's a productive thing. I really don't.

So what he's talking about here is he got really angry. Rightfully so. If somebody calls your

brother, someone you love names, you want to fight back, don't you? But confronting hate with

hate just leads to more hate, doesn't it?

It takes a really big person. I've had to learn to do this. It's not in my instincts.

If you come at my sisters, my brother, my family, Bruce, my husband, my friends, I'm going to

fight back. But I refuse to lower myself to the same level as the person that started this. Jason did not initiate this.

Somebody came at him and unfortunately he admits now he chose to greet hate with hate.

Now some people would say you can greet hate with love or you can greet hate with indifference and walk away.

That's where I am. I'm not yet ready to be the guy that can return hate with love. It just
