So let me tell you a little bit first about why I was so excited when

Jackie agreed to come on the podcast. I'm half American and every school holiday we'd fly to the

US to visit my family in Miami and on every trip I'd go with my parents to Barnes & Noble, which

is a bookstore there and I'd pick up the biggest pile of American magazines.

There was just something so exotic, so exciting about how they lurked and smelt.

The covers were different. They were a different size. The ads were for things we couldn't

get at home in England. And I'd spent all my pocket money and read them by the pool.

And one of the magazines that I'd always buy was travel and leisure.

So it's one of the magazines that I followed for the longest time, given that I'm getting

on of it these days.

And it always inspired me with its incredible covers and moving features.
