I am your host. Welcome to the show. This is a show dedicated to helping you not just survive retirement. We truly believe you can rock retirement regardless of what life throws you if you're intentional about that and we are in the middle of a month long theme of travel in retirement and so far we have started to build a framework of the kind of

experiences we want from a profile. Last week we talked about budgeting and how not to get

too deep too early. This week we want to start to get too deep too early. This week we want to start to

put some meat to the bones on where your first trips might be and how to go

about refining this a little bit more.

But before we do that, let's jump in real quickly and tell you a little bit more about yourself,

meaning you and the people that listen to the show,

and you can see whether this is your kind of people or not.

We just completed a survey last month and had a massive response so I thought I'd share some of the results of that.

So, are You Currently Retired? Was a question we had, and

we had 37% of our listeners say that they're retiring in the next five years and we had almost 18% said

they're going to retire within one year and about

14% of you were retired and loving it. About 14% of you were about five years away or so.

So the vast majority of you are on this runway

towards a major life change and we hope to help you navigate and

land safely.
