Bert Bhuta is a, well I should say, was a product designer.

I'm sure he'll be a product designer again, but right now he's a bit of a

nomad traveling around on his Africa Twin Motorcycle. In Bert's family though, he's not the black sheep. He's not the odd one out. In fact, it was his parents that introduced him to the idea of exploring the world through travel beyond a vacation.

And even Bert's own grandparents,

they're in their 90s, and they're still traveling around Europe

in a camper van.

And what they told Bert was,

get out and travel,

experience things in the world while you still can.

Before life gets you pinned down with responsibilities.

And that's just what Bert's been doing.

Out there riding his motorcycle, traveling alone, he prefers it that way, experiencing

cultures and landscapes, meeting people, even some smuggling thrown in for his own entertainment, and that's in a country that's

known for some of the harshest punishments in the world.

Bert what were you thinking? That story coming up. His original plan was to ride

for nine months, then go back to his girlfriend, but that was in 2019.
