Hey, really glad you're with us for the Friday edition of the Three Martini Lunch, made

it through the week once again, good, bad, and crazy Martinis for conservatives today,

and the Good Martini is really for everyone.

This is about as low of a bar as you can get for a good Martini, but it is good news.

But why didn't this happen a really long time ago?

CNBC version of the story White House on Friday says it will allow international travelers

who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 into the US, starting November 8th, lifting a

ban on visitors from the EU, the UK, and other countries.

The White House last month said it planned to lift the travel restrictions, which barred

most non-US citizens who had recently been in Europe, Brazil, South Africa, and elsewhere

in early November.

Rules first put in place by the Trump administration in the early days of the pandemic.

So Jim, there have been many folks.

Your colleague Charlie Cook being one of them, Ellen Carmichael, longtime GOP strategist.

Both of them, of course, have family members overseas.

They've been pushing for this for a long, long time, and many others, of course, and so

it's finally happening, Jim.

So it is good news.
