And for this, our third episode and our mini series on trauma in the age of me two,

and we figured we would do an entire episode on trauma itself.

What it looks like, what it feels like, which just makes sense, I think.

Our last episode was about grooming and how that leads to abuse.

So the next step in that arc of abuse is what comes after, which is often trauma.

And we touched on this briefly in our episode around PTSD and CPTSD.

These both results from traumas.

But oftentimes in our society, we hear about it in terms of soldiers and veterans, not

so much about in terms of abuse and sexual assault.

And that is not to downplay any type of trauma.

It's just to say that we don't hear about trauma in terms of what we're talking about, sexual

assault and abuse that often.

And for the trigger warnings for this episode specifically, we're going to be talking about

sexual assault, sexual abuse, abuse, self-harming and suicidal ideation and trauma itself.
