0:00.0 | Hello again, beautiful beings of light, and welcome back to another Expand podcast with |
0:28.3 | yours truly, Elizabeth April. Today, I want to talk about trauma and I want to talk about being the oversaturated sponge. Now I have dedicated a |
0:43.3 | whole episode to the oversaturated sponge but I definitely felt called to bring this up again |
0:50.9 | and to maybe remind you of this concept. So let's go ahead and just dive right in |
0:57.3 | and get started there. So the oversaturated sponge syndrome is something that I created |
1:05.7 | many years ago when I started to realize that a lot of people have the same problems. |

2:31.4 | The best way to tell is through your trigger response. Are you triggered for every little |
2:38.8 | thing these days? Or are you pretty chill? Are you pretty even keel? Do you let things come and go |
2:46.8 | easily? Or do you let things really bother you? And they sit there and they ruminate until you just |
2:55.8 | can't think about it anymore. Where is your reaction response? Right now in your life, |
3:03.9 | if you're at a place where everything makes you react, where you feel a lot of frustration, |
3:10.9 | anger, sadness, there's an emotional breakdown every other day of the week. |
