Sometimes you just have to get the word out and I wanted to do this podcast, a special

podcast for Gun Talk listeners because the trap shooting world has lost a giant. No kidding. Leo Harrison has died at the age of 57. Leo was maybe the best trap shooter of all time, honestly.

He's in the Trap Shooting Hall of Fame.

He has won so many things.

It's hard to even know where to start he's been attending he attended the

grand American trap shoot first time in 1969 and basically just started winning like

crazy he he got 18 grand high overall trophies between 73 and 96. He won the first of his

record nine championships in 1980.

It collected four in a row beginning in 93.

It just goes on and on.

Leo Harrison was really a monster, just a nice, nice guy.

And I wanted to play this.

We have a short interview that we did with Leo, six years ago, 2007.

We were at the Grand American Trap Shoot in Sparta, Illinois.

We had kind of a crummy connection for the phone line,

so it's a little bit scratchy,

but I thought it would be a chance

for some folks who may not have known of Leo to hear a little bit about him, to hear him.

The trap shooting world has lost one of its real icons.
