We're now in the heat of the best books of the year conversation. We're going to talk about

P. W.'s list. You didn't put it on here because I think it just came out this morning Barnes and

Nobles lists of the candidates their finalists for books of the year crying in

Hmart notably among the ones we talked about there. It's that time of year and we're going to talk about some of our recent reading.

We're going to talk about Matrix by Lauren Groff for a few minutes and then talk about Crossroads

by Jonathan Franzen for a few minutes. I almost said Jonathan Groff, which is an interesting

Port Manteau, it's a different character, different person altogether.

That's an interesting kind of novel to imagine. Yeah, I would read Jonathan Groff's novel, think his memoir for sure especially doing an audiobook

narration so little news little reading wrap-up but before we do that we've got a new

podcast we want to talk about, but let's do that after

the break.
