Remember how Joe Biden would always want us that the dark winner was coming?

Come here, dark winner.

He was always trying to scare you about the virus.

He was always trying to convince you that COVID was what was going to make your life miserable as winter approached.

I'm not so sure that that was ever real, but let me tell you a little bit about a dark winner coming.

I just heard, you know, before the show started, a finance guy talking about how it was going to be necessary.

And just so we all understand this, I know that you do as we hurdle toward a very important election in November,

understand that economically what Democrats are doing is truly setting us up for a dark winner.

I don't like being pessimistic and glommen downbeat, particularly at the end of a week here,

but I have to be honest with you, you're starting to hear economists and finance people say we have to purge jobs in order for this thing to start to ease.

And the economy right now shows no sign of purging jobs, but job loss is going to have to come.

And we're already in a labor market where, yeah, I mean, everywhere you look, there's still plenty of hiring going on.

Economists are saying there is no avoiding this until people stop expanding and growing and hiring.

This inflationary period we're in won't even begin to ease.
