| 0:43.3 | I'm a children's librarian at the Bronx Library Center, and I use they and them pronouns. |
| 0:48.3 | And this project really started at a few years ago for the innovation project, which is an internal staff |
| 0:58.0 | award of submitting ideas and things that you'd like to see, change in the library, staff vote on it, |
| 1:04.0 | and my project was one of the ones that was picked. |
| 1:07.0 | So, Transform NYPL was really my idea to raise staff competency and being able to provide |
| 1:15.8 | great service for the trans and gender non-conforming communities. It was really keyed into the |
| 1:22.4 | Stonewall 50 celebration last year, which was the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. |
