If you would turn in the scripture this evening to Romans chapter 12, Romans chapter 12, if you didn't bring a Bible with you, hold up your hands real high, we've got extra Bibles you can use one of ours, and turn to Romans chapter 12.

We began a few weeks ago on a series on Friday nights called Transformed.

Transformed.

And our main text is right here in Romans, the 12th chapter.

Romans 12 and verse 2.

Romans 12 2 says,

be not conformed to this world,

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Here he says there's something that will transform you and enable you to know the will of God.

Are you interested in this?

In the New Living translation, New Living says, don't copy the behavior and customs of this world.

But let God transform you.

Everybody said out loud, let God transform you.

How's he going to do it?

Now, when people think about what God doing an amazing thing in your life,

oftentimes they don't think of their involvement.

They just think, oh, yeah, God could just send a lightning bolt of transforming power

and wapo zapo and behold the new me.

And it is his will to do an amazing, miraculous transformation with you and me.

But it requires our involvement.

Transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
