Summary

Welcome to the newest Wednesday Podcast! On Wednesdays, I get to talk with members of the Organize 365 community as they share the challenges, progress, missteps, and triumphs along their organizing journey. You can see and hear transformation in action. I look forward to helping YOU get Organized!

This week I am sharing my conversation with Catherine D. She lives with her husband and their blended family of 6 kids. They also have a dog, two bunnies, and fish. (And backyard chickens are on the wish list!) Catherine talks about wrestling through paper, passion projects, and storage spaces. She put the effort into creating spaces in her home that were functional during the pandemic. There's even a little retreat space for Catherine to relax with decor that makes her happy. She says that Organize 365® has helped her look at the spaces in her home differently!

What resonates with YOU about Catherine's story? Do you have any special retreat spaces in your home?

I am grateful that you are reaching out to share your stories and progress with me and with the Organize 365® community. If you are ready to share your story with us, please apply at https://organize365.com/wednesday

How did you find organized 365? Well, I can't believe it's been this long, but I think it was

0:43.4

back in 2019 I want to say. I had my last child December 2018. I believe it was when I came back

0:53.6

from, apparently, even this spring, the next year. And I know that I was on a kick. I was doing,

1:00.7

I'm trying to do steps at lunchtime. So I would go upstairs in my school building and I would

1:07.6

walk inside, you know, to be safe and everything. Because there's nobody up there. And I think that's

1:13.1

when I found it. So I found it. It was my, I think my first one, because I think I searched

1:17.8

organized and it just quickly became my favorite. You know, you're very chipper and positive. And,

1:28.0

you know, just really, it was like really relatable. And I just started to learn things. And like,

1:35.6

I kind of set my mind on fire as far as how I could do things differently. And so I started,

1:43.8

like, way, I always like to start way back at what I've missed. I don't like to do, like, out of order.

1:49.0

So I started them and I started from the beginning, I think. And, uh, it's been a while. I mean,

1:54.7

time has passed. As a dollar, both preschool teachers. So maybe, maybe preschool and kindergarten

2:00.5

teachers to see the world a little differently than everyone else does. I think so. I think so. And

2:05.5

there's very much of like, uh, you know, for me, my husband reflects to me, like, can you please

2:11.9

come sit down? Can you sit down? What are you doing now? And I imagine that you are the same way at

2:17.6

home. It's like, what are you doing? And I'm like, I just have to, and he's like, and so now we've

2:25.1

agreed that when he says, please come sit down, that means that he wants to hang out and that, like,

2:30.4

I have stopped and put a pause on it. It's so hard. Um, but I can totally tell that's, that's
