You need to hit 60,000 points, normally 120,000 to get diamond status, that is, can easily

reach that with 15K to 20K of everyday spend,

because the card earns 3x everywhere and has category bonuses to get you better than that.

And you also get a free night certificate along the way.

If you could pair that with a new card bonus, it's a great opportunity.

This was in response to our conversation about ways to get elite status and we didn't

really touch on other ways of getting it from Hilton besides the Hilton aspire card.
