for tuning in today. And I pray that God will speak to our hearts today. Wonderful words of life

and just confirm things that he's already spoken to us and give us instruction where we've been

wondering what in the world to do and that we can continue to grow thereby.

But our foundational text today comes from Deuteronomy chapter 28 and verse 13.

From the New Living Translation, notice there these words,

if you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I'm giving you today,

and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will

make you the head and not the tail. And you will always be on top and never at the bottom.

We're speaking today from the subject, transcend.

This is the third part of transcend.

And this is about getting over, being under.

This was a prophetic promise that God gave to the children of Israel,

that if they would obey him, that he would cause blessings to overtake them. And you know,

we don't get the greatest favor from God by just being keepers or doers of the law. I do want

you to understand that very, very clearly. We'll

save by grace through faith. However, we do have a responsibility to obey God's voice when

God speaks to us. You do remember that obedience is still better than sacrifice. I will say it this way to you. God won't

make you do right, but he sure will make you wish you had done right. There is a blessing
