For the last year, my team and I have been looking into the anti-trans attacks on education.

And what we have found is that they're part of a much larger plan by the right wing to destroy

public schools and democracy. As one of America's last public goods, schools are where we practice

pluralism. They are where families gather, young people learn about civics, and where communities

engage across differences.

This season of the anti-trans hate machine is some of the most important work we've done here

because without public schools, there can be no democracy.

This assault on public education is important to understand the authoritarian takeover that's currently

underway, as well as the plans that the people behind it have in store for all of us.

So go listen to our critical investigation, but it's not only to just learn about the hard

stuff, but also to find inspiration from the people pushing back against all of the bad

stuff in their communities.
