Bonjour, this is Kimberly Wilson, and welcome to the 363rd edition of Tranquility

Today's episode is on the riding habit with a local yogini and amazing woman, Justine Kennan.

0:26.5

So in this episode, you're going to learn the best way to build a writing habit based on the course she

0:32.3

recently taught at Politics and Prose, how carrots and sticks help, and you're going to learn what those are,

0:39.1

plus some prompts and book recommendations to get you going. And I have to say when she put out

0:45.4

on one of our Facebook groups that she was hosting this workshop, I was just over the moon.

the artist's way. So anyway, in this episode, you're going to hear a lot about

1:29.9

how important it is to create this as a regular habit. And as many of you know, that's one of the

1:36.4

things that I've been working on a lot over the past couple years, is taking various workshops

1:41.0

and even online courses. And I read so many books on writing. It's ridiculous.

1:47.6

And one could say that's a procrastination technique or one could say it's research. So I like to

1:54.2

lean towards the research, but I will say you got to get down and write. And one that I recently

1:59.3

finished that I adore is called The Art of Memoir by Mary

2:02.4

Carr. And she also wrote The Liars Club, so some of you may be familiar with her. Another thing
