Summary

Topical style teaching utilizing Exodus CH 20:12 in order to set the stage for honoring our most precious women of God. This teaching will review historical data as it pertains to the inception of Mother’s Day, as well as the original purpose for it that has lost much of its zeal over the decades. In this teaching, we will utilize the meaning of names associated with several women captured in the Scriptures, in order to paint a timeless picture regarding traits associated with Godly Motherhood. In addition, we will show from the word of God, the unique connections that can be derived from these names, as well as how these traits go beyond biological frameworks that ultimately honor the true and living God.

0:46.2	on this Mother's Day just stand by okay all right praise God I do want to remind everyone about our next prayer meeting, which will be held on the third of June at 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary.
1:02.0	If you're able to come out, please do so. Corporate prayer is so important, especially as these days continue to grow dimmer and darker we need
1:12.5	to all be praying together if you're not able to make it do not allow that to be
1:17.2	an excuse not to pray pray is not on the third of June only you recognize that
1:23.1	right that's right it's every day all the time as the Lord leads us. So let's make sure we take that time out to pray.
1:33.0	On Sundays, we have two services. The first service is normally dedicated to the prophecy update.
1:39.9	And the second service is normally dedicated to our line by line teaching in the New Testament.
1:45.0	But for our first and second service this morning, I would ask that you join me in the book of Exodus, chapter 20 and verse 12.
1:56.0	I will also ask that all who are able to stand to do so for the reading of this one scripture, one verse, followed by a word of prayer.
2:05.6	Again, we are in the book of Exodus, chapter 20, in verse 12.
2:14.6	The Word of God reads, honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is given you.
2:28.3	Why don't we pray and ask for the Lord's blessing. Father in heaven, we come to you with our hearts bowed,
2:41.1	asking that you would meet us here as you are so faithful in doing. And Lord, would you
