popular culture through the lens of an attorney and a therapist. I'm Brooke Brigham and I'm the

attorney. And I'm Tess Brigham. I'm the therapist. And today we are talking about the Netflix

documentary Train Rec, the Astro World tragedy.

And this is about Travis Scott's Astro World Festival that was held in November of 2021,

that had an extremely tragic outcome.

Ten people ended up losing their lives that day.

Countless others, you know, thousands of people injured.

This is this really is a tragic and upsetting story and really infuriates me all the way through.

Yes. So high level, I didn't know much about this. I didn't even know that much about

Travis Scott. I'll be perfectly honest with you. If he did not date Kylie Jenner, I don't think that, that, you know, I don't think that I would have even known who he was at all.

So I did not know his music.

I did not, I could not pick out one song.

I didn't know anything about him and, right, like this history that he has at concerts

and the kinds of concerts that he has.

And then the other thing, too, is, you know, when you think about these things like safety and flow of, you know,

how do you build an amusement park and, you know, there's so many details that go into these kinds of events

that I think people, we don't really think about, but they are those invisible things that

if they all go right, you would never know that they were there. It's only when things go wrong,

that you realize there's a mistake.

And so that was really surprising. I think it was the whole thing is awful and tragic. And I also think

that it felt like it was a little bit of a perfect storm, a bit of this combination of COVID COVID people wanting COVID to be over and wanting
