Hello, it's the first day of the train strikes in Wales, Scotland and England and of a

tube strike in London.

And I'm halfway through my walk to work and I've got to my first nameline train station.

It's bus train stations, it's King's Cross, Hanson, and Vancouver.

And it's definitely much quieter than usual.

It's complicated by the fact that the Euro Star is still running so you can still get

train to Paris or Brussels or Amsterdam and most people are.

But you can't get a train to Bedford because if I walk further down the station, the

National Rail platform has their shutters down, although it doesn't look like there's

some decent influence trains going.

So yeah, definitely a mix of pictures.

Although what I would say, I came through this station, really every day on my walk to

work during the pandemic and all those lockdowns and it was deserted.
