My puppy, Prophet, turned four months old this week! At this point, the Prophet knows nothing. What!? Now, my definition of ‘know’ is different. Although he doesn’t “know” much, Prophet recognizes many behaviors and several markers, and that’s the start of true understanding. I’m sharing exactly what my daily routine and puppy-training plan looks like and my top priorities for raising a confident, joyful dog.

| 1:09.9 | you know this. My puppy likely recognizes 40 or more antecedent arrangements, leading him to |
| 1:17.0 | 40 or more different behaviors that we're working on together. I'd be willing to bet he would |
| 1:22.8 | recognize all of them depending upon the location on where I'm working with it and what other distractions |
| 1:29.4 | are in his environment. So by adopting the concept that your dog recognizes things, then it |
| 1:35.2 | leaves the opportunity open for your dog at the park when you ask them to sit if they don't sit. |
| 1:41.4 | You're going to say, wow, I guess he doesn't recognize that cue in this |
| 1:45.9 | environment instead of stomping your foot and saying, you know this. If the dog knew it, |
| 1:52.2 | he would do it, right? Dogs are always doing the best they can with the education we've given them |
| 1:56.8 | in the environment that we've put them in. So, your dog may recognize things, |
| 2:01.9 | but does he really know things? So Prophet recognizes so many things. He's a fun puppy. My priorities for him |
