But we do tell people that there are only two types of plans at JRCC.

We have to break habits. We have to actually convince people that they're not going to be able to spend three, four weeks preparing to go into a mission set. communicate what their supply requests are as they're getting ready to deploy.

recently, you might not realize how much has changed.

Why are things changing?

Well, one reason is because the Army has been undergoing this really major shift toward preparing

for large-scale combat operations.

A second reason is because of how much the global operating environment, the technological

landscape, and the full range of threat capabilities have also changed.

All of those require the Army to constantly assess and adapt the way it trains.

But it isn't just about training.

What's happening at JRTC and the other combat training centers also plays a role in the
