week ahead of us. Players are about to report to camp. So we are closing out our training camp preview

with the defense today. And with me filling in for Ryan Matthews this week is our good friend,

our social media manager and writer and editor. He kind of does a little bit of everything,

including filling in for the podcast from time to time. John Whitaker is here at Whitaker on

Twitter. John, how are we doing tonight? Ah, doing pretty good. I'm very excited to talk about the

defense. Now, this is a unit that has changed a lot this off season.

So there's a lot to go through.

Yes. And I think the question we are always asking ourselves, we have been asking ourselves since training camp or since the draft really is, okay, it's changed, but has it improved?

And so on today's show, we're going to go kind of position by position,

look at the training camp battles, look at maybe some starter battles and kind of maybe at the

end determine, is this improved or is this just changed? And it's interesting to see. I mean,

obviously we won't know until the lines take the field. And even then, most of us won't be

able to see them actually take the field. And that's, most of us won't be able to see them actually take the field.
