favorite guests to talk about a topic that is not always my favorite topic. But I'm excited to

talk about this topic with my guest

because he is, I feel uniquely qualified to cut through some of the training camp

nonsense as, of course, an analytically inclined person, as a person who knows his history,

but also as a former beat writer. He can cover it from both

side and let us know what actually matters when it comes to training camp hype. It's my friend

from ESPN, Seth, Walthor. Seth, how are you, sir? I'm great. I like, you know, come on,

the training camp, all this stuff, it's a sign of football coming back.

I think it's fun.

I don't know if I could parse the signal from the noise, but I guess we'll try.

Yes.

I mean, I feel like it's important.

Of course, you want to try to gain an advantage. If you're a fantasy football player, a gambler, someone who just cares a lot about football, a lot of things, you can, you know, you sort of want to parse.

You want to be ahead of the curve. I remember, you know, usually I'm the skeptic. I'm like,

ah, none of this matters. And then the year Doc Prescott was really good in training camp,

you know, it was like, oh, that one actually did matter. Doc Prescott ended up being quite a big story.

And you would have been really ahead of the curve if you had been paying attention

and taking a closer look at Dak that preseason.
