Today, it's so excited to have our guest here, a frequent contributor to the show when he was at ESPN, now at The Athletic, does one of the best articles every year

on what people really think inside the league about the various starting quarterbacks.

Joining me to talk about that article, his annual quarterback tiers at the athletic,

is my friend Mike Santo.

Mike, you told me before you're, this is like, quarterback tears at the athletic is my friend Mike Santo. Mike.

You told me before you're this is like what what number is this in terms of like

this is this 25 of 90 in terms of it's talking about quarterback tears.

Um, so it is a lot.

I know we did, uh, 24 on Monday and Tuesday and probably another 15 or 16 today.

And then I've got to know, I think it's going to be 50 from Monday to Thursday. And it's awesome because, you know, of course there's some, you know, big podcasts like yours and a few others.

But then, you know, the local radio show in Pittsburgh is really interested about their guy, right? So there's a whole different discussion to be had there. Some of it is the same and overlaps, but it's fun to hear the different perspectives from each market and be like, you can get somebody saying, why isn't Jalen Hertz in Tier 1?

And then you go to like the Kansas City market and they're like, hey, why is Jalen Hurts so high?

You know, the perspectives are all informed by, you know, what people are paying attention to in their own market.

And that's kind of fun.

Let's actually start with tier 1.

We'll start with the very, very top.

Obviously, no surprise, Patrick Mahomes is number one, unanimous number one.
