What a freaking day in Ashburn.

First of all you got all the fans there.

Then we find out Terry McLaren is holding in.

He's now with the team.

And then bang.

At the end of practice, everybody's signing autographs.

Things are going nuts.

Who walks out?

What up, everybody? It's J.B. Finley's beltway football. Mitch Tishler's here. Busy, busy, hot day in Ashburn. Big man, I want to start right here. I don't know if you're going to agree with me or what. I think it's awesome. Terry showed up. I think signing autographs for the fans was probably like some food for his soul frankly um just seeing the love between him and the fans

was really really cool he spoke to us briefly about what that meant i think we got to really

be careful for folks to jump to conclusions towards a resolution on this

contract situation just by Terry showing up. I want to say that bang up front. I think both

sides are still fairly far apart. Absolutely. I think that it's pure speculation,

kind of any which way you slice it with what's happening because both sides are being, you know, pretty quiet about it.

I will say, though, it's a nice olive branch at the very least, you know, we don't know what those discussions look like, but it's a nice olive branch for Terry to come back, for the team to welcome him back,

to put him on the pup list with the ankle injury and all those different things.

And quite frankly, it was damn good to see him, you know, walk down those steps, head over there,

signed some autographs for fans, you know, you guys got a chance to talk to him.

It makes me feel, it alleviates a lot of the angst that I've had about what's happening here

and what's going to ultimately end up getting done.
