That was a bit of news today, Miles Jack decided to retire. We were back out at the practice field, so a bunch of observations and then we talked to a few players and coaches after after practice,

and I had not yet crossed him off because he was not there.

No, and not shocking, you know, when he got here he talked about how he was thinking about retirement and Eagles called and he talked about how he was thinking about retirement and the Eagles called and he talked about how he wanted to go to he was thinking about going to trade school and

he had all these plans and sometimes when a guy starts thinking about retirement.

He's already there. You know, he's already mentally there.

Now, if he was getting ruptured with the ones, maybe he wouldn't have done this probably not because he would be due to earn a lot of money but

And we were watching the game in the studio

on Thursday night and with 14 seconds left the Browns ran a play and to a young

tight end and Miles Jack's making the tackle.

And when you're a veteran linebacker and you're out there with 14 seconds left in a meaningless pre-season game, that's not a real good sign.

And he got here, he was with the ones right off the bat and then

Zach Cunningham just kind of splendid him in that role and running was on the wall he wasn't

going to make the team he's smart enough to understand that and instead of going through this for another week and a half or whatever till cuts, he just said, that's it, I'm done.
