Day 10 of practice today, back on the field at NovaCare Complex, the last practice before the preseason opener.

So plenty of observations.

We'll talk about what we saw out there on the field.

But let's start with the news Monday night.

The Eagles pull off a trade.

What were you doing when you heard news of the trade come down?

I was on the piano practicing,

a song that I'm playing with Archua on Friday at Puck in Doylestown called Space Ship Girl.

So I was kind of working through that.

And I always have my phone in case you slack me with news. And, yeah, it kind of broke late later in the evening. Yeah, a little bit later than, yeah, I had already eaten. I had done a TV show, eating dinner. And I was like finishing writing and kind of winding down. And then news popped. Yeah. and it's a significant move, potentially very significant

move. Yeah, so let's break it down. The Eagles trade Thomas Booker the fourth, who's a defensive

tackle, has been with them a couple of years, a depth piece who played 166 snaps with them

last year for a cornerback, Jacorian Bennett, 24 years old, turns 25 later this month,

was a fourth round pick, actually one pick before Healy Ringo in the 2023 draft.

Yeah, and he's a guy who's had some injury issues in Oakland.

Interestingly, first trade.
