What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike.

And training camp has begun. Lakers opened up their training camp yesterday. And Mike and I were

on the scene. We got a little bit of scrimmaging in.

The three of us got to see a little bit of that.

I tried to make a video, guys, to put together some highlights of the scrimmage and whatnot.

And that got swatted into the third row for reasons I totally understand by the higher-ups.

And so we will just have to testify here on this podcast as to what happened

there. But there was plenty of interesting stuff there, Mike, in the media availability afterward

as well. I thought there was a great theme of like building on the idea of continuity and like

we're not starting at square one. And so I'm interested. What were your takeaways from the first day

of camp? Been to a lot of first days of camp at this point. And I texted a friend that works on a different team in the NBA.

Something along the lines of Lakers are feeling pretty good about how things are going. They're looking pretty good.

And he responded, everybody feels that way in the first day. And I said, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm saying in the context of

my experience watching the team, like for Lakers Day, there is a difference between, of course,
