Summary

In this episode, Tatum shares a timely message about building spiritual muscle memory—the discipline of training your spirit to respond automatically to God, especially in seasons of pressure, warfare, and transition.

Just as physical muscle memory develops through consistent repetition, spiritual muscle memory develops through daily prayer, studying the Word, obedience, and intentional separation from environments that weaken your spiritual strength.

This episode serves as both an encouragement and a call to action for those who know they are being stretched, tested, and prepared for greater responsibility. Tatum explains why spiritual consistency—not emotional intensity—is what sustains you through seasons of elevation and opposition.

If you have been feeling pressure in multiple areas of your life, this episode will help you understand what is happening, how to respond, and how to strengthen your spiritual posture so you can stand firm in what God has called you to do.

In This Episode, You’ll Learn:

  • What spiritual muscle memory is and why it matters
  • Why spiritual disciplines must become automatic, not occasional
  • How consistent prayer strengthens your spiritual resilience
  • The difference between repetition and quality repetition in spiritual growth
  • Why studying and understanding scripture deeply increases its effectiveness in your life
  • How environments and habits can either strengthen or weaken your spiritual position
  • The importance of accountability in maintaining spiritual discipline
  • How to proactively prepare for seasons of elevation and opposition

Hey guys, welcome to another episode of the Blessed and Bossed up podcast. I have to be honest with you guys,

0:06.3

I am not 100% right now. I have a migraine. And this past week, I've just been battling

0:13.6

migraines, a bit of fatigue, and just not feeling the best.

0:28.8

And so today's episode is so funny because usually when I am not able to record at the capacity that I'm used to in the way in which I want to communicate the message

0:34.9

to you guys, I will find like an older episode when I did have it in me and repost that.

0:42.0

So I was just scrolling through to see what was I going to post.

0:46.9

And a lot of times I look at, like, my YouTube channel, and then I also look at the podcast

0:51.2

because I have a ton of videos on YouTube and I have like over 500

0:56.1

podcast episodes from over the years. At first, I chose to download a message that I gave

1:03.6

and I was going to repost it here on the podcast and I gave this message at a church that I spoke

1:09.3

at some years ago.

1:17.8

And as I was preparing this, in my spirit, I just knew that that's not the one.

1:18.9

Don't post that one.

1:22.4

So I'm like, okay, well, God, I already recorded the intro, but okay.

1:29.0

And so as I'm going through to see what else I'm a post, this one in particular stood out.

1:33.0

And I pressed play on it for a second, which is unlike me.

1:38.1

Usually I'll read the description and I'll recall what the show was about and that'll just be that. But this one I played back and, yeah, yeah, this is the one that needs to be posted again.

1:46.7

I believe that the Lord wants some people to hear this either for the first time or the second or third, if you've heard this before.

1:55.8

And I believe that this is a great episode that is very timely.

2:03.3

And there's a reason why the Lord had me switch up and not post what I was originally going to post so that I can get this one out there.

2:09.1

So I pray that this blesses you. Please keep me in prayer. And in the next couple of days, I hope to

2:14.9

be in a position to record another episode for us to wrap up
