The train station is an interesting place to be an observer. There is so much to see! Business commuters with their noses buried in newspapers check their watches impatiently, hoping that the train will be on time. Mothers and young children, giddy with excitement about their first train ride. Porters moving baggage and conductors directing people to the right platform. On the southbound track, a sleek passenger train idles while travelers board. Soon, it will pull out of the station, gliding on two steel ribbons toward the next stop. The cycle will repeat itself day and night, as predictable as the sunrise, continuing as long as people have places to go.
