Hey everyone. Welcome to Sarah's Bookshelves Live, a new weekly podcast featuring real talk about books and recommendations from a featured bookish guest.

I'm Sarah of the blog Sarah's bookshelves, and if you're listening to this, chances are you've

read my blog. I've been blogging about books for over five years now, and I've loved interacting

with you over the internet. Well, now I'm super excited to be in your earbuds as well as on your

screens.

Here's how the podcast will go.

Each week I'll talk with a bookish guest about two old books they love, two new books

they love, one book they don't love, and one brand new release they're excited about.

I'll finish every episode with a fun love-hate type game where I will give five bookish

things to my guest and he or she

will rate each thing either one or five stars. And occasionally I'll bring you special episodes like

new release previews, summer reading rundowns, best books of the year discussions, and much more.

If you read my blog, you know I like to tell it like it is. I don't mind talking about books I don't

love, although I prefer talking about books I do love because who doesn't? And I can occasionally

get a bit snarky. You'll hear all of that on the podcast. The first episode will be available

right after the new year, because new year, new podcast, right? That's what everybody needs. And

episodes will drop every wednesday after that to

because i haven't been doing audio that long that's okay anything not published this year is

backlist in my mind.
