Here we are going to.

May day we are in trouble.

It feels like the world is ending.

We are dying here.

We are plagued by climate catastrophe, nuclear threats, Little rocket man.

Racial capitalism. Now I've always said when America get a cold, the African American community get pneumonia.

Now all of America are going to have pneumonia.

Rampant violence.

They're convinced he was acting alone and crushing hopelessness.

The Las Vegas mayor saying here this city has a broken heart.

But.

Our communities have survived genocide, middle passages, holocaust, disasters both natural and man-made.

We're going to continue to uphold the legacy that our ancestors wanted, which was that one day

we would come together and strengthen unity, and we would fight for a just cause, and we would win.

But we would do it in prayer and ceremony. We have survived the margins under conditions that were designed to deny our humanity. And yet, here we are.

How do we learn from Apocalypse?

There are no close doors, no walls.

You can look at, examine, play with, anything, absolutely anything.

How do we move through these endings with grace, rigor, and curiosity towards what we want?

Justice, liberation, and a right relationship with this planet and this universe. I don't know what the next American

Revolution is going to be like, but you might be able to imagine it if the

imagination were rich enough. We are two sisters who facilitate social justice movements.
