I have been pulled into an epic adventure, a treasure hunt, really, that has dragged me

deep into the Amazon rainforest, where fortunes are made pursuing divine substances, stuff

like cocaine and ayahuasca, but one substance towers over the rest, a stimulant that has

delivered more bliss than all the other drugs combined, chocolate.

But not just any chocolate, while chocolate.

When I tasted this chocolate, it was as if I was taking a drug.

This was like, you know, a classic symphony orchestra, just beautiful.

They were like, oh my god.

There is no chocolate on a five death.

This is chocolate unlike anything in the candy aisle.

But now, a few Indiana Jones style cacao hunters are trying something new.

They're scouring the jungles for cacao with real flavor, flavors that have been lost

for centuries, or in some cases, new flavors, no one has ever tasted before.

So the hunt is on for this magical cacao, and I've been tagging along.

Are there snakes to worry about?

Yeah, there are.

But I had no idea what I was in for.

I don't like guns.

And I've never wanted us to have gunbite.

I mean, you saw the stacks of passion in our office.

And to be here, bullets, brazers, nails, it has been tough.
