And now we're stuck with the name forever, apparently.

But we normally do that in the last 10, 15 minutes of each show.

And we really do depend on your questions coming in.

And we do, you know, the answer usually one a month.

But we got a question that was so profound

that we thought it could be the basis of a full episodes conversation. We looked at this

question a couple times when thinking about putting other months episodes together and we were

intimidated by it, honestly, and we both wanted more time to reflect. So I'm going to read

this listener question now,

and then I think you'll see why we think this is the opportunity to have a longer conversation.

I would love, the reader writes, to hear you two talk about the sex that we cannot have.

I have been missing that a lot in the queer and sex positive discourse.

It seems like everyone knows which kinds of sex they want and how to get it, whereas I know that a lot of people's lives experiences are very different.

Like what you talked about, considering beauty standards. As a trans fag, I am super scared to ask for the sex I want in a lot of gay spaces.

Sometimes I know I just need courage, but other times I need to accept the fact that some sex I just will not have.

I have a lot of cis male gay friends who are extremely frustrated by the idea that it seems like the gay scene is easy access to sex, but that doesn't seem true to them at all.
