Our first stop on today's tour of items is a dismaying item from a couple of days ago from

Mayor Pete, from Pete Buttigieg. Listeners of the show who've been following us for a while

may have heard our episode on Mayor Pete that was done in January of 2020 just before the Iowa

caucuses when he was running for president.

We did that episode with Edna Bon Omen MacFolks.

Mac was an amazing guy.

But what we talked about in that episode is the fact that Mayor Pete is a sniveling little

motherfucker who is bought and paid for and racist and really cares about

nothing other than his own advancement. And I think we were in that episode, if anything,

too nice.

Well, it's funny because it's the episode, I think we probably got the most pushback on

of all our episodes.

He's an interesting figure, right, because he looked like he maybe had a shot of being the first gay, openly gay, not first gay president, but first openly gay president

or nominee, even for the Democrats.

And he continues to have a lot of support, like a lot of liberal support from people, you

know, including a lot of gay people, not just for because he's a gay politician, but also

because of him pushing back against Trump and because, and this is one thing I will say to him,
