This is real ghost stories online. When someone passes tragically, it's something that is going to be a trauma that those who are close to that person have to deal with for the rest of their lives.

There's no getting over something like that.

There's moving forward, but getting over is a whole different thing.

It's interesting when someone that passes so quickly continues to be a part of your lives, not just through memories, but very vividly

showing up, and sometimes continuing their antics, they're kind of a jokester in real life, continuing

that in death it happens.

who tragically dies at the age of 13, but continues to haunt his parents' house and his parents and his siblings.

I've been told since I was small not to be afraid of him that he's my uncle and he's just our playful

ghost and would never mean any harm. He was 13 and a half years old in the day of his

death and the year was 1965.

Earl's sudden death took place two days before the start of summer and a few short months

before Hurricane Betsy would rip through his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Earl was my mother's younger brother.

My grandmother was pregnant with my youngest uncle Casey when the accident happened in 1965.

On the morning of Earl's death, he had awoken with a swollen foot and was complaining about having to go to school.
