We were coming back from Philly.

Actually, we just went down the city, and then we were coming home, and we got into a car accident, and him and my best friend died.

So the car flipped eight times, wrapped around a guardrail, and the two of them were ejected.

On today's episode, Nicole Mio is here to share her tragic story of how being the lone survivor of a horrific car accident that caused the death of her boyfriend and best friend, led her down the path of addiction for years, including a stint and a psych ward.

She's really spearheaded like a lot and really paved the way for a lot of women, not only in, you know, the prison community, but also recovery as well. So, yeah, for sure.
