And I'm Hannah Rosen. Shira, are you finally feeling a little relaxed like all your

heavy-duty season duties are over? A trillion billion percent, yes. You know, because I like

moved to basically a resort town the day that the resort opened. So I've been working 16 hours a day since June. Whereas, and I've been so jealous of a lot of my colleagues have quiet summers. And then things ramp up for the high holidays. But that's not what's been like for me. So I am, I'm just living the life, man. I'm very, very happy. Good. Are you going to go skiing soon? Are you getting your ski gear together?

I do have to say like, God, it's so embarrassing. And I really, I probably could get fired for this. But like, I just grew up in a house in which skiing was, it was just guish. It just wasn't something that we did. And so now I live

in a place where like, not only is skiing super Jewish, it is like the Jewish thing to do.

It's like, like we actually do services while people are skiing down the slopes. And they all

make fun of me. They're like, oh, Rabbi Shira, we'll tow you up, you know, and then, you know, you can hold on to us and then we can leave you on the side of the slopes. And they all make fun of me. So that's a long way of saying I actually have to learn how to ski. That's my goal. Do you ski? Well, I'll tell you a funny thing about me and skiing. When I was a little kid growing up in Queens, I had the idea that to be an American, you had to ski.

And so I would force my parents to do these things that I must have read about in books or watched on TV,

because it's not like anybody else in Queens was doing them.

So I made my mother take me to horseback riding lessons.

And I made my dad, in his taxi, drive me out to learn
