It is that time of year.

The trade deadline, trade rumors galore.

We are nine days, ten days, no, nine days away from the trade deadline, February

6th, Thursday, February 6th. And we're officially entering that portion of the season where

it starts getting really loud. Look, we know where the Warriors are. They're 500 team right now.

There's been some debate about what they're going to do with the trade deadline. In general,

there hasn't been a ton of movement. I know there was the Dennis Schrooter move early on,

but it seems like a lot of things are going to come to a head over the next week and realistically

probably those last 48 hours.

That tends to be how these things go.

And so today, we get an interesting trade.

Today, friend of the show, Kevin O'Connor, puts out there sources.

Warriors are one of several teams back in the mix for Jimmy Butler,

now that the heat have lowered the asking price. This is on the backs of Brian Windhorst reporting

that the heat have lowered their asking price. Shams basically reported the same thing.

So between those three things, I think it's pretty steady.

I think we can go off of the idea. And also it's just common sense. Like that situation's gotten

really ugly. Jimmy's now suspended indefinitely. Like we can go through it. I think both sides are

to blame. If you're to ask me, like this is the team jimmy's kind of had an ugly divorce with so

you know it happens once maybe it's not you happens three times it might be you but at the same time

you know the heat didn't give him an extension they had to have known how he'd feel about an extension.
