Plenty of trade talks to get into. I'm sure we'll talk about that a lot today or at least pieces that could be traded.

But before we do, obviously some news of the day, really news that has been swirling for a little while now

on that 2018 Canada team, a handful of players surrendering to Ottawa police today.

Yeah, we've been asked some questions about if or how we plan to cover the topic, and I just

wanted to bring people up to speed that we do plan to cover this case.

I've been in touch with the London Police's media officer for the upcoming press conference on February 5th.

The players that have been asked to surrender have been asked to surrender prior to that.

So we should have more information before then, but I wanted to report

on what information is learned from that press conference. And they haven't set a time for it yet,

but I will be tuning in remotely. It should be available on Facebook for everyone to tune

into next Monday. And once we have some information directly from the London police as well as what

has been reported on recently, we do want to talk about it. Rick West had reported today that he

believed it was unlikely that we see a trial for this case until 2026. So as you can imagine,

there's also just a lot of time before we learn even more about the incident.

But I also wanted to caution how the conversation around this topic takes shape.

I've already seen people utter the Duke Lacrosse case and Trevor Bauer in how they talk about this.

And this is a unique case that is special to, unique to the individual survivor and the alleged assailants.

And I think it's important then to treat it uniquely because over a year ago, the Ottawa,

let's see, it was the London Police and an appeal to, there it is, the Ontario Court of Justice,

they submitted a 94-page document and in it they demonstrated reasonable grounds that five members of the 2018 allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.
