The trade deadline has come and gone. It was a very busy day, and so I've got four of my colleagues here today.

We've got a trade deadline roundtable for you here on the Road to Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast.

Hello and welcome, everybody, to what is normally the Thursday guest edition of the RotaWire Fantasy Baseball podcast, but no guests today, or maybe it's four guests.

I've got four of my fellow co-hosts here on the line to talk about everything that went down at the trade

deadline. Eric Hulterman here and with me we've got James Anderson, Ryan Boyer, Jeff Erickson,

and Todd Zola. And guys, we're just going to jump right into it because there are plenty of deals

to talk about today. We're going to go through all the biggest moves.

We're going to do a quick little new closer drafts, trying to figure out who we'd be picking up this weekend.

Then we'll end with a few smaller moves that matter as well.

But I don't know about you guys.

The biggest move of today, is it Mason Miller to the Padres uh Jeff or do you buy that

mason mill yeah biggest deal out of no biggest deal biggest deal is just a name and also with the

return the biggest return of ever any deal also for that matter um yeah absolutely uh changes

who the closer is going to be in, in Sacramento,

closes who it's going to be changes in San Diego, probably. Eventually, it may change Miller's career path to be a starter next year. That's eventful in it of itself. And in fact, that's the only reason why I would get on board with San Diego doing this trade is if eventually they want him starting there because I don't think you give up a top five prospect in baseball merely for a closer.

But yeah, huge deal there.

And it just illustrated this was the year of trading closers.

Yeah, it was.

But you mentioned the big prospect that got dealt in this Mason Miller trade.
